Put briefly, the work of evangelisation is the task of the whole Christ, Head and members. It is an ecclesial event. It is the presence of the Risen Christ acting in and through his members.
The Church is not simply an institution or a thing. It is Someone. It is the person of the Risen Christ living and acting through all the baptised. The whole Church, every member without exception is called to evangelise.
